Airline Transport Pilot

The ATP Certificate is the highest level of pilot certification available.  Although not necessarily a requirement for the majority of helicopter operations, it may be a requirement for employment with some companies.  Besides that, it just looks good on a Resume.

Designed for the professional pilot for career advancement, our program is designed to minimize cost and maximize efficiency for the working pilot on a budget. We offer this program at the lowest cost of any flight school. We offer accelerated classes to accomplish training and a checkride during your off-time.

Minimum requirements:

Hold at least a Helicopter Commercial Pilot Certificate,

Helicopter Instrument Rating

At least 23 years of age,

At least a Class 2 medical certificate,

Pass both written and practical exams

Aeronautical experience and minimum hours include:

1200 hours total pilot time,

500 hours cross country time,

100 hours night time,

75 hours instrument time,

The study material is similar to that of both the Commercial Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating.
